Global Education Cluster Core Skills Training-Cyprus

RASIL continued to forge new strategic partnerships. In doing so, RASIL lead consultant participated as a facilitator in the “Education Cluster Coordination Core Skills” training organized by the Global Education Cluster, between 19-24 June 2017 in Cyprus. Training workshop on Education in Emergencies at IHC premises

RASIL conducted a training workshop on Education in Emergencies at IHC premises. The training was attended by 20 participants from 8 organisations, and opened by Mr. Abdallah Al-Wardat, WFP Representative and Director of Gulf Office and Ms. Rania Hammad from IHC. Participants gained an increased understanding of educational needs and interventions in complex emergencies, and made aware of the important guidelines including key capacities required for establishing education programs and activities in the field. The training included rich discussions and case studies on education in conflict, post- conflict, internal displacement and refugee situations.
